In a world filled with overly complicated computerised SUVs, there's something quite refreshing and honest about driving an R reg Mondeo. It's as comfortable and as practical as a modern car but simple and reliable enough to maintain yourself. It's? amazing how many people on the street take a second glance and reminisce about this old box. Who would've thought a mid spec Mondeo would ever be considered as mildly interesting? Being garage-kept, it wears its age very well. There are some cosmetic blemishes but nothing major. I removed layers of floor mats and seat covers to unveil an extremely well preserved interior. Yes I am also surprised that these things are actually worth something. Until I researched the market I thought they were all scrap value. I refuse to believe that they're classics but they do now make characterful dailies and have a following. HPI clear, V5, 3 keys & books
